To help us build our breeding program, we are here to help you succeed with our horses.​

We normally sale our babies either as weanlings or yearlings so that we can get them into your hands or your trainers to begin that solid foundation that is needed for the events of your choice.

 

This year we have kept a few back for ourselves to add back into our breeding program and to promote ourselves.

 

The 4x4 Guarantee.......

 

Again.....if you purchase a weanling or yearling from 4x4 Performance Horses here at the ranch and the colt is wearing my 4x4 brand.  I will stand behind that colt or filly and if there is a problem, (4 year limit from date of purchase) bring them back and we will trade for another weanling or yearling or you will get to pick from the available foals the next year.  Our success is your success!

 



Since 1945 our family has been breeding and raising top performance horses for the arena. Concentrating on Reining, Working Cow and Cutting Horses as well as Ranch Versatility in 2006 with the purchase of an own son of Peptoboonsmal out of the 6th all time leading money earning daughter of Colonel Freckles.  Peptos Rapper MiniMe is a beautiful bay stallion that is producing performance horses for the future.

 

In 1945 the Stamm Family concentrated on the running bloodlines that excelled in the AQHA show pen and the rodeo arena after their careers on the race track.  Several ROM and Superior horses have come from our families breeding program. Some of the horses that were owned, shown or bred were Tommy Twist, Wiggy Would, Mr Hoss Bar, Miss Sue Bars, Sorrella, Sorrella's Miss Leo, Jo Decker, McGinley 64, Miss Mickey 64, Mr Que Ball, Miss Que Ball, Lucky Livin Proof, Color Me Silver, Shawne Smoke, Fols Fast Native, Fols Show, Mandarin Queen, Miss Copper Clown, Fols Diane, Fols Ripple On, Duncan Donuts, Ramblin Red Fowler and many more. The NFR barrel Horse HQP Smokin Rascal is the grand son of Miss Que Ball.

With the development of the specialization of the horse industry, we have seen horses that excel in only one specific arena as either Reiners, Cutters, Pleasure, or Halter.  It has been a refreshing move by many organizations and the AQHA to bring back the all around performance horse with the Ranch Versatiltity events.  We have truly enjoyed becoming involved with the Stock Horse of Texas and American Stock Horse Associations.  The concept of one horse that is able to do all 4 events, working cow, reining, stock horse pleasure and trail is very rewarding.

 

Rapper has been shown in all 4 events as well as excelling in barrels and poles.  We are breeding for the All Around Versatility horses that can excel in many different arenas.  With a firm foothold in the cutting horse bloodlines we are producing exceptional working cow horse, reining, roping and barrel horse prospects.

​This is how much I believe in my program and my horses.  If you purchase a horse from our 4x4 Performance horse program directly that wears our brand, if he or she is not what you are happy with, I will trade you for another weanling or yearling horse from the 4x4 breeding program.
